This is Cascade Mountain. It's what you see when you stand in front of the Rocky Mountain Resort.
One thing that we take for granted when we're not on holiday is our privacy. We can always find a place in the house or yard to enjoy some quiet(er) time. During a family holiday, the benefits of living in close quarters as a family are many, and they outweigh the difficulties, but there comes a time when you have to say, "I'm looking for my own space for a while." So, I rose with the sun at 5:45 am today, and headed over to the main building. The morning paper was just in. A bridge collapsed in Minneopolis, and it was all over the news. A murder suspect was arrested in a small Quebec town. The pulse of the world beated on. I ordered the bacon and sausage with hash browns. There was no one to talk to, just for a little while. These family times are very special.
